I am currently re-reading Drew Dillhunt's new poetry chapbook, 3, 068, 518, which was recently published by Mudlark  http://www.unf.edu/mudlark/mudlark39/cover_dillhunt.html

I find the chapbook fascinating. Here is a poem from the book:

Plastic #5 (Polypropylene)

Diaphanous fibers
birthed from melted slurries / of 2-liter
soda bottle tops. Metal dies extrude
bolts of milky-white
fabric / cut to fit
our silhouettes
agree to keep us warm
if we'll insulate them
/ in return.

Machine Wash Cold
Line Dry
Do Not Iron

Microscopic barbs / stick to lifelines
catching feeling of sandpaper
tactile expression of fingernails
on chalkboards. Unpleasantness
of microfiber dust rags / now we're comparing
plastics to plastics.

Articles dyed blue / dyed red
create an allusion to softness
/ the subtext of warmth

When did you first realize / your long johns could melt?

I fill the pockets of my parka
with plastic bottle tops
to protect myself / from frostbite.
